Intermediate Youth Swim Lessons
Ages: 4 and up (8 participants max)
Time: Saturdays, 3:25-3:55pm (30 min.)
Class Fee: $120 for 4 lessons

Skill Exploration: PARTICIPANTS MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN 5 FT.
- Intermediate Swimmer: freestyle stroke, backstroke, breast stroke, butterfly stoke, diving, flip turns, starts/stops
What to Bring

Swimsuit

Towel

Swim Goggles (If participant is not comfortable opening their eyes under water, I recommend you wear swim goggles)

Swim Cap (Swim caps are recommended to avoid hair from blocking the participants face while swimming).
What not to Bring: Swim shoes in the water, goggles that cover the nose
Makeup Lesson Policy:

Instructor Cancellation: If I need to cancel a lesson due to illness, personal emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, I will reschedule the lesson within the same week, subject to availability.

Weather-Related Cancellation: If weather conditions pose a safety risk (e.g., thunderstorms, extreme heat/cold),the lesson will be cancelled. We will reschedule the lesson within the same week, subject to availability.
In the event of a makeup lesson due to the above exceptions, I will:
- Contact participants via email you as soon as possible to reschedule the lesson. Do my best to accommodate everyone’s schedule within the remaining available lesson times.
Please note:

Missed lessons due to student absence are not eligible for makeup.

If you know you will be unable to attend a scheduled lesson, please provide as much notice as possible (at least 24 hours). This allows me to potentially offer the time slot to another student

I'm Lindiwe Famodou (pronounced: LIN-dee-way FAH-much-doo), a swim instructor with 10 + years of experience and a passion for helping individuals of all ages discover the many benefits of water. My lessons are all about creating a structured, fun and personalized learning environment where students can learn and grow with confidence.
